Why Agile Self-Development

If you want continuous personal growth and improvement, you’ll need to continuously work on self-development and the agile approach keeps you focused on your highest priorities, lets you gather feedback and learn along the way, and adapt as needed. And the best part about it is that you will see progress and accomplishment much more frequently and quickly.

The Basics:

  1. Personal vision
  2. Roadmap to achievement
  3. Goals broken down to bite-sized chunks
  4. Prioritized backlog of the bite-sized goals
  5. Daily check-ins
  6. Sprint reviews (sprints are timeboxed period for accomplishing a group of these smaller goals, generally a week or two)
  7. Planning for your upcoming sprint
