I’m sharing my story because I feel compelled to share what it’s like for other people like me who deal with a food addiction but have no idea it exists. What a huge AHA moment it was for me when I first learned about it. And I’d already been classified for years as a compulsive overeater, but having it explained as an addiction put all the pieces of the puzzle together for me from a lifetime of behaving like an addict/alcoholic when it came to food.
